A little bit about us…

Made with love. It’s a simple and cheesy concept for sure, but one that isn’t taken lightly here. This business grew from a love of baking, and that love continually shines through every single item.

Here at The Flour Box, we make filled brioche donuts by hand and from scratch in small batches each day.

Our donuts are made over a three-day process for optimal flavor and texture. They are divided, shaped, fried, coated in sugar, filled, and garnished completely by hand in our little kitchen. All of our fillings are made in-house as well, using high quality ingredients.

We use all local Shepherd’s Grain flour, Smith Brothers Farms milk, fresh Stiebrs Farms eggs, and Cremerie Classique European-style butter. We also use real Madagascar vanilla bean paste, fair trade Belgian dark chocolate, and premium Sugimoto matcha.

We never add any preservatives, softeners, or stabilizers, which is why we always recommend enjoying our donuts fresh as possible on the day they are made.

And what would a donut shop be without coffee? Our extensive coffee program features small-batch locally roasted Anchorhead Coffee, as well as local Intrigue Chocolate and all house-made syrups. Even our espresso machine was made locally in Seattle! We take just as much pride in our coffee as in our donuts.

Our menu is inspired by a lifelong fascination of food from around the world, as well as an appreciation for the beautiful region we live in. Given that Seattle is such an incredibly diverse city, it’s only fitting to celebrate ingredients and flavor profiles from all over. Our goal is to make delicious things that are familiar and comforting yet new and exciting. We aren’t doing anything revolutionary here; we just take very great pride and care in everything we do.

We cannot wait to have you in.
